Extension of the Graduation session for the Academic Year 2019/2020

With the conversion into law of the Milleproroghe Decree, the extension of the academic year 2019/2020 has been arranged.

To implement the extension, the Department of Law has set up an additional graduation session to those already scheduled. This session will take place from 7th to 15th June 2021.

Students will be able to take advantage of the additional session as follows:

1) for first cycle degrees, students enrolled in the last academic year 2019/2020 at least in the third year of the course; for one-long cycle degree programme in Law, students enrolled in the last academic year 2019/2020 at least in the fifth year of the course; for second cycle degrees or degree courses previous to Ministerial Decree 509/99, students enrolled in the last academic year 2019/2020 at least in the second year of the course;

2) students enrolled in the academic year 2020/2021 – over the course length - provided that they did not carry out activities of the career (changes and / or additions to their career plan).

Students included in the second option can be refunded of university fees for the year 2020/2021. The reimbursement will take place according to the rules indicated in the Tax and Contribution Regulations of University of Turin.

IN THE CURRENT ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021, STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE THIRD YEAR OF THE FIRST CYCLE DEGREE, IN THE FIFTH YEAR OF THE ONE-LONG CYCLE DEGREE PROGRAMME, IN THE SECOND YEAR OF THE SECOND CYCLE DEGREE DO NOT HAVE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ACCESS THE EXTRAORDINARY SESSION

Requirements for submitting the graduation application

In order to submit the graduation application for the additional session, students, not only must belong to one of the abovementioned categories, but they must still sit no more than 3 exams for a maximum of 27 ECTS.

Before submitting the graduation application, students are invited to:

responsibly assess the real opportunity of sitting all the missing exams;

evaluate the state of completion of the final dissertation and, in case of doubt, consult the thesis supervisor for information on the matter.

Graduation application and thesis submission

The graduation application must be submitted in the period from 22nd March 2021 to 31st March 2021 and the thesis must be delivered by 27th May 2021

Exams

To make the graduation session usable, the Department provides an additional exam session which will be reserved for students who, having the indicated requirements, have submitted their graduation application within the terms referred to in the previous point.

The exams will take place in the period from 12th April to 15th May 2021.

Registration for the exam will take place automatically and it will therefore not be necessary to proceed individually.

The exams will take place remotely. Date and time of the exam will be communicated by the theachers on their teaching page.

The students registry office will carry out checks on the careers of those who have applied for a graduation and will cancel any applications that do not meet the abovementioned criteria.
