European Legal Studies is an innovative post-graduate Master's Programme in advanced European, international and transnational legal studies that is taught entirely in English.
European Legal Studies consists of a broad and multidisciplinary offering of courses that allows students to create a professionally-oriented curriculum that is tailored to their areas of interest.
Contents
Students are expected to successfully complete 120 ECTS credits over two years.
The Master‘s Programme offers a broad, advanced education in a wide range of subjects related to European and international law, including the protection of fundamental rights in the framework of multilevel constitutionalism, substantive EU law, comparative and global administrative law, transnational private law, and dispute settlement.
Methodology
Lectures and seminars held by academics and external experts are supplemented by innovative and interactive teaching activities. The programme offers students the opportunities to participate in legal clinics and in international moot court competitions in the context of the Moot Courts Programme of the Department of Law (Jessup Competition, Vis Moot, European Law Moot Court, and the Concours d’arbitrage international de Paris).
